The event mainly focuses on the purely technical aspects of Engineering fields. The event will comprise Technical Talks, Sessions, Workshops and Hackathons, Industrial Visit and so on. The Student Branch has started 5 Student Branch Chapters and 4 more is yet to be started. Hence, every individual society will host its own Workshop cum Hackathon which would go hand in hand with the Technical motive, Mission and Vision of the societies. There would be certain societies which won’t be able to host Hackathons, they would concentrate more on Technical talks and session.
Being the first of its kind in India DYUT is a combination of frolic, fun and technical elation. DYUT aims to provide technical knowledge, skills and provides a platform for networking students from all over India. DYUT invites students and professionals from all around India for the workshop and hackathon on laser sound transfer.
A hackathon organized by the IEEE Computer Society Student Branch Chapter NSSCE will be of 2 stages and the topic will be given on the day. The first stage will be Idea presentation, where their ideas on the topic will be presented to judges for 5 mins a team and later they will start the hack for the next 20 hours, at the end of the hackathon, their prototype will be presented to the judges. The decision made by the judges will be conclusive.
A hackathon organized by IEEE Robotics and Automation Society Student Branch Chapter NSSCE will comprise a total of 4 stages - 1 prelims, 2 and 3 are intermediate and 4 is the final level. And 5th stage is kept for any tie that happens at the final stage. Its an Arduino - Electronics CTF which will be a 24hour hack.
The hackathon begins with a session on IoT after which the participants would be segregated into teams of 5. Participants are given 2 hours? After raising the problem statement. In these 2 hours, they are required to analyze and arrive at the most appropriate solution for the problem. We give each group 10 minutes to present their solution to the raised problem. Evaluation begins from the time when the problem is announced and last till the group completes their presentation.
